Summary
A section of the FY23 National Defense Authorization Act (Pub. L. 117-263). As reproduced here, Section 844 ("Prizes for Advanced Technology Achievements") amends 10 U.S.C. 4025, the DoD prize-competition authority, to let prizes reward management practices that improve schedule or performance, reduce cost, or support the transition of technology into acquisition programs, and to add reporting elements including a summary of the contributing management practice and identification of the responsible program executive officer.
