Summary
Authorizes the Secretary of Defense — acting through USD(R&E), USD(A&S), the Director of the Defense Innovation Unit, and the service acquisition executives — to award cash prizes and other prizes, including procurement contracts and other agreements, recognizing outstanding achievements in basic, advanced, and applied research and technology development.
